Morris Dancing
Plumpton Morris - Black Brook
Plumpton Morris started as an after school club run by John and Ann Bacon from Ditchling Morris and Mr Johns in 2006.
The children are popular and can often be seen dancing at various events in the area.
The interest in traditional dancing has also resulted in an annual Traditional Dance Festival in Plumpton where children from many local schools take part.

Plumpton Traditional Dance Festivals
The Dance Festivals are led by Plumpton School and involves all the schools in the Chailey Secondary School cluster. The focus is English Traditional dance with each school having ownership of an English style. Current styles are Cotswold, Molly, Northwest, and Border.
